Towns near Watervale

Arcadia

Arcadia, five miles to the south has a great ice-cream shop, the Big Apple Bar and Arcadia Days in July.

Frankfort

Watervale is located right off M-22 on a stretch of highway that hugs Lake Michigan. Frankfort is just five miles to the north with great restaurants and shops, Stormcloud Brewing Company and the newly restored Garden Theater which features nightly movies and the Frankfort Film Festival in October. Frankfort also plays host to the Taste of Frankfort in September and the Fall Fest in October.

Beulah

Beulah, located on the shores of Crystal Lake is a great day trip with East Shore Market and L’Chayim as popular lunch spots. Just outside of town is The Cherry Hut, famous for its cherry pies. Crystal Crate and Cargo and Crystal Lake Adventure Sports are two popular shopping spots. The Cherry Bowl located outside of Honor is one of the few drive-ins left in Michigan.
