Please Note
Reservations are by the week (Saturday to Saturday) during the summer season. There is a two night minimum stay for cottages in the spring and fall. Rates do not include State of Michigan Tax (6%), Traverse City Tourism Tax (5%), or any gratuities.
A deposit of 50% of the cottage or room rate required to secure a reservation. Deposits for the summer season are fully refundable before April 15th. Off-season deposits are refundable with 30 days notice.
Pets
Pets are not allowed on Watervale property during the summer season. Should you choose to make arrangements for your dog to stay in the area, please plan to visit it at the kennel or local dog park. Dogs are allowed in cottages during the spring and fall with prior approval. There is a $20.00 per night fee per dog (2 maximum). All dogs must be leashed on Watervale property and all waste disposed of.
In General
Your cottage comes equipped with sheets and towels (but please bring your own beach towels). Cots, pack n plays, high chairs and hair dryers are available upon request. There is a free lending library for books, puzzles and toys. Canoes and kayaks are available to use. Watervale also provides a spot for reusing beach toys and inflatables. For the sake of the lake…it’s peace and beauty… we allow no jet skis and strongly discourage wake boats as they endanger our shoreline.
Smoking is not permitted in the dining room, cottages or any public spaces.
Firewood is provided for cottages with fireplaces but not for beach fires. Fireworks are not allowed anywhere on Watervale property.
